Service questions

How do I know which service my pool needs?+

Start with the conditions you can see or feel: roughness, stains, cracks, loose tile, worn decking, or unreliable operation. An evaluation of the existing pool helps separate a focused repair from a broader remodel.

Can resurfacing, tile, and decking be completed together?+

Yes, those scopes can be coordinated when their conditions and the project goals support it. Combining related work can also help the finishes read as one deliberate renovation.

What is the difference between pebble and plaster?+

Pebble is an exposed-aggregate finish with visible texture and depth. Plaster has a smoother, more traditional appearance. The existing pool, preferred feel, visual direction, and maintenance considerations all help guide the choice.

Can tile be cleaned instead of replaced?+

Sometimes. Cleaning may be appropriate for mineral buildup on tile that remains in sound condition. Cracked, loose, or damaged tile may call for replacement, and cleaning results depend on the tile and buildup present.

Do you build new swimming pools?+

No. Gabriel & Sons Pools focuses on remodeling, restoring, updating, and removing existing residential pools.

What affects the schedule for pool work?+

Timing depends on the selected scope, current pool condition, finish choices, site access, weather, and permitting or municipality requirements where applicable. The expected sequence should be discussed with the proposal.
